About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our 60-beds residential facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develop and lead lifestyle programs that enrich the lives of our residents. Oversee and inspire a dedicated team, creating a supportive and engaging workplace. Coordinate with our extensive volunteer network to ensure diverse and meaningful activities. Ensure programs are culturally relevant for residents from CALD communities. Implement strategies that maximise resident engagement and regularly assess their effectiveness. About You: To succeed in this role, you will have: Proven experience in developing and managing lifestyle programs in the aged care or community sectors. At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally with team leadership experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families. A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities. Experience with dementia care, with knowledge of memory support programs and Montessori methods highly regarded. Relevant qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a related discipline. In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards. Current driver's license, police check, NDIS screening, COVID-19 vaccination, and full Australian working rights.
