KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. To provide outstanding customer care, including information, guidance and assistance to all museum and/or cafe visitors.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all company and statutory policies and regulations regarding Hygiene, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCAP are complied with at all times including policies regarding COSHH, fire, security, alarms, energy conservation and recycling.
3. To work within the Café, including food and beverage preparation.
4. The efficient operation of food orders, queue management, cash handling and responding to customer requirements.
5. To work on a rota basis including regular weekend and bank holiday working.
6. To ensure timesheets are filled in accurately and on time.
7. To ensure the museum environment is cared for – buildings, artefacts, facilities and the sites are kept clean and tidy.
8. To ensure that all activities are carried out safely.
