An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bramshott Ward specialising in Trauma and Orthopaedics, for an experienced and driven nurse to join our team as ward manager. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on patient care and service delivery whilst developing your leadership and management skills. In this dynamic role, you will lead, motivate, and support the nursing team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in the acute ward setting, whilst being a champion to the delivery of excellent patient experience. You will manage both planned elective cases and emergency trauma admissions, ensuring high quality pre-operative and post-operative care. You will play a key part in supporting the teams growth, problem-solving, implementing change, and being a role model for your colleagues. You will be expected to build strong links with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support effective collaboration, whilst displaying excellent interpersonal skills and upholding the trusts values and high standards of professionalism. You will be supported in this post by the Surgical Matron and the Associate Director of Nursing for surgery to help you succeed in your role.
