This small hotel is independently owned and family run. They have an excellent reputation for their fine cuisine and are currently seeking an enthusiastic Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to assist the Pastry Chef.
There is a brigade of 10 chefs preparing modern British menus and everything is made in house including all the desserts, pastry, and some bread. They source fresh, seasonal produce as locally as possible, and the standards are extremely high.

Due to a recent expansion, they are looking for a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie who can assist with the running of the section and eventually be able to run it on the quieter shifts. There is a very talented Head Pastry Chef so an excellent training will be guaranteed.
Although well established and successful they are keen to push the business forward, so it is constantly evolving. They have a separate pastry kitchen which is well equipped with all modern appliances. As an independent business you will have plenty of opportunity to contribute to the menus and demonstrate your creative flair.
This is a very busy establishment so previous experience within a high volume, quality kitchen will be beneficial.
