We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Employee Services Administrator to join our dynamic Employee Services Team for a fixed-term period of 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality employment services while taking on a key role in various projects across the organisation. A secondment opportunity is also available for internal candidates interested in expanding their skill set.
As a Senior Employee Services Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administration of Employee Services processes and systems in line with Trust policies. You will play an essential role in resolving queries, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to key project objectives. This position is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and has a passion for service improvement.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Delivery: Support the Employee Services Team in delivering high-quality, proactive services, ensuring deadlines are met, and service standards are upheld.
* System Administration: Oversee the administration of Employee Services systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
* Query Resolution: Respond to and resolve queries from service users in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Workload Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision of the team, allocate workloads effectively, and contribute to the generation of management information and reports.
* Service Development: Work independently, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and service development, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
* Project Support: Contribute to the delivery of key employment services projects, ensuring objectives are met and work is carried out efficiently.

Person Specification
Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
* CPP Certification, NVQ Level 4 or above or equivalent experience
* Experience in a relevant high pressure, customer focussed transactional environment.
* ECDL
* Working towards Management Qualification
Knowledge and Skills
* Significant experience in NHS Employment Services/HR/Payroll environment or equivalent setting
* In depth knowledge of policies and procedures
* Experience of managing/supporting/developing and motivating staff
* In depth knowledge of NHS Workforce Systems
* In depth knowledge of agenda for change and local terms and conditions
* Experience of implementing change/service improvement management projects to develop or improve services
Personal Attributes
* Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels (written, oral and interpersonal)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team member
* Able to multi-task and continue to function to a high standard when under pressure
* Well organised and creative
* Ability to be credible and confident dealing with all levels of staff including clinicians and senior management staff
