The Server Specialist will be responsible for the more complex, second line helpdesk queries as well as all aspects of IT infrastructure networks, VMWare and HyperV virtual environments, physical and virtual servers, server operating systems and applications/systems including Active Directory with responsibility for disaster recovery prevention and implementation. Specialist IT development knowledge and collaboration skills are essential to regularly take the lead IT technical role on a variety of departmental and organisational projects as well as representing the health board at a local, regional and national IT infrastructure meetings/forums.
