Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to oversee and drive our sales operations in the bulk fuel distribution sector. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets and drive market growth. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team specializing in bulk fuel solutions. Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster accountability and collaboration within the team. Cultivate a dynamic and energetic team culture focused on excellence and results. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with logistics, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product delivery to clients. Collaborate with finance and marketing teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, delivering tailored solutions to meet their unique fuel distribution needs. Represent Tate Fuel Oils at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities, acting as a brand ambassador. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Analyse sales metrics and trends to refine strategies and maximize growth opportunities. Prepare detailed reports on team performance, sales forecasts, and market opportunities for senior management. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including untapped markets, industries, and clients. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the fuel industry. Key Skills and Competencies: Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of bulk fuel distribution, logistics, and related industries is preferred. High-Energy Leadership: A dynamic, motivational personality that inspires teams and creates a competitive edge. Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
