Managed Services - Manager
A key focus for KPMG’s GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations, through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation and technology.
We are looking for talented Managers to join us with technical experience such as:
* Strong tax and/or accounting compliance and reporting expertise
* Strong VAT compliance and/or VAT process management expertise
* Strong transfer pricing compliance and/or transfer pricing advisory expertise
We are additionally looking for experience in:
* Engagement management
* Tax governance and controls expertise
* Transformation, transition and project management
* Client relationship management
* Developing standardised methodologies
* Tax compliance process improvement/redesign expertise
* Advising on appropriate technology to support compliance and reporting processes
* Project management of global and large UK tax and accounting compliance and reporting managed service projects
* Management of implementation of managed service and transformation solutions
* Support for technology solutions to enhance delivery
* Effective governance and issue resolution as central contact for clients
* Management of tax business development process
* Management of tax & statutory transformation projects
* Development of tax service offerings and delivery models
* Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
* Line management of assistant managers and trainees
* Coaching and technical support for team members
* Management of monthly governance calls with clients
* Management of issues and escalations in global tax compliance
* Leading meetings to update clients on tax compliance engagements
Knowledge and Experience:
* Strong project management/co-ordination skills and experience
* Experience in process, risk and controls design
* Experience in transition, change management and stakeholder management
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills
* Awareness of technology and automation to drive efficiency
* Personal accountability for own work
* Leadership and drive under pressure
* Experience of tax and accounting compliance processes
