We are seeking a dedicated and professionalNight Reception Supervisor to join our team in Manchester UnitedKingdom. As the Night Reception Supervisor you will be responsiblefor overseeing the front desk operations during night shifts overtwo properties Novotel Manchester Centre and Ibis 96 PortlandStreet. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customerservice and maintaining the security and efficiency of the hotelduring nighttime hours.
* Supervise andlead the night shift reception team providing guidance and supportas needed
* Manage guest checkins checkouts andinquiries ensuring a smooth and welcomingexperience
* Handle financial transactionsincluding endofshiftreconciliations
* Respond promptly andprofessionally to guest requests andcomplaints
* Coordinate with other departments toaddress guest needs and maintain hoteloperations
* Ensure compliance with hotelpolicies procedures and safetyregulations
* Monitor hotel security and respondto emergencies as required
* Prepare and maintainaccurate shift reports and guest records
* Trainand mentor new night shift receptionstaff
* Assist in managing inventory and suppliesfor the front deskarea
Qualifications:
* Bachelorsdegree in Hospitality Management or related fieldpreferred.
* Proven experience in hotel receptionor similar customer service role
* Previoussupervisory experience in a hospitalitysetting
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
* Strong leadershipabilities and team managementexperience
* Proficiency in hotel managementsoftware and computer systems
* Demonstratedproblemsolving skills and ability to make decisions underpressure
* Exceptional multitasking capabilitiesand attention to detail
* Experience in cashhandling and financial reconciliation
* Indepthknowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industrystandards
* Flexibility to work night shiftsweekends and holidays as required
* Ability tostand for extended periods and assist with light lifting whennecessary
