Our new SENDCo will be pivotal in driving the next phase of our improvement journey; refining a highly effective intervention program delivered through inspiring and precision teaching by a committed support team. We seek a highly motivated, compassionate, and experienced SENDCo with: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in a secondary school setting, with flexibility on specialist subject. Essential Qualifications and Skills The National Award for SEN Coordination or SENDCo NPQ A strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation. Proven experience in identifying and supporting pupils with a wide range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and external agencies. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse and complex workload.
