Job Description
Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive product pricing strategy, ensuring optimal pricing for new products and maintaining the company's competitive edge in the market.
* Take ownership of product ranges within the company's portfolio, driving product planning, development, and launches to meet business objectives.
* Establish and manage product launch timelines, internal communication, and sales support to ensure successful product introductions.
* Provide timely and effective support to sales teams on product-related inquiries, questions, and requests, fostering strong relationships and driving sales growth.
* Oversee the entire product life cycle, including managing end-of-life strategies, monitoring aged stock, and maintaining optimal product inventory levels.
* Collect and analyze data for product sales forecasts, creating relevant reports to inform business decisions.
* Collaborate with headquarters and external partners to ensure compliance documentation and product certifications are up-to-date and accurate.
* Maintain open lines of communication with staff and stakeholders regarding upcoming product releases, preliminary information, and draft prices, supporting sales efforts through compelling presentations.
* Design and maintain product sales tools, including content for collateral and demonstration videos, working closely with marketing and headquarters to highlight product capabilities and benefits.
* Evaluate and test new and existing products, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to HQ to enhance product offerings.
* Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze industry trends to identify requirements for new products, staying ahead of the competition.
* Support cross-functional teams in launching products and executing sales strategic projects as needed.
* Contribute to team goals and objectives, working collaboratively with the European regional team to achieve shared success.
Personal Attributes & Experience:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data analysis and reporting.
* Technical expertise in fields like engineering or field installation, particularly with Video Surveillance or Physical Security products, hardware, and software, is highly valued.
* Previous experience in a similar Product Management role within a B2B company, preferably in the Security industry, is an advantage.
* Familiarity with pricing models and their application in the market.
* Strong organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and attention to detail are crucial for managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
* A high level of commitment, responsibility, and initiative-taking is required to drive results and achieve goals.
* A customer-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and a consultative mindset are essential for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, collaborating with others to achieve shared objectives.
* Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and convincing product presentations to various audiences.
* Relevant education, such as an Engineering or Technical Degree Level Education, is desirable.
* Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages like Korean and European languages being advantageous.
* A clean driving license may be required for travel purposes.
Location:
The successful candidate will be based at Hanwha Vision Europe Ltd, Heriot House, Heriot Road, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 9DT. The role may involve extensive travel throughout the UK and our European offices, with occasional travel to other regions.
