This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners, providing vital support in their education and helping them thrive. You do not need previous classroom experience, but a genuine enthusiasm for working with children is essential. Experience in supporting children, whether in an educational or other capacity, is highly valued. You will be working closely with children who may require additional support with their learning, behaviour, or physical needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to children with SEN in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. Assist with classroom activities and help children engage with the curriculum. Help with personal care tasks and other duties where required. Support the teacher in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Build positive relationships with children, teachers, and other school staff. What We Are Looking For: Previous experience working with children, whether in a school or other settings (essential). A caring and patient attitude towards children with SEN. Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff. Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to varied roles and needs. Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
