Position: KS2 Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
As a primary SEN Teaching Assistant with Randstad, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experiences of students with special needs. Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual learning needs.
2. Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for personalised learning experiences.
3. Support classroom management and help maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
4. Establish effective communication channels with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
5. Prepare and adapt teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Essential Requirements:
6. Experience working or volunteering with SEND children, preferably with experience in autism/ADHD.
7. Strong behaviour management skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
9. Caring and empathetic personality.
10. Commitment to safeguarding children.
11. Possession of a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
