Job Role: Mechanical Supervisor (plumbing)
Location: HMP The Mount, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead HP3 0NZ
Salary: £45,303.07 per annum, + 5% additional for working shifts over weekends
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP The Mount, a Category C & Adult/Male prison.

We are looking for a Supervisor with one of the following qualifications and combination of skills:
1. C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating
2. C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft)
3. C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing)
4. C&G 6018 heating and ventilation installation
5. C&G 6129 certificate in Plumbing
6. C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance
7. C&G 6188 Heating and ventilating
8. C&G 6088 certificate in heating and ventilating
9. C&G 6032 the advanced craft certificate in plumbing
10. EAL Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
Additionally, a minimum of five years' experience, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors is required.
Experience working on commercial or industrial heating, water or building service systems, familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements, good Health & Safety knowledge, excellent organisational, time management and people skills, and a rounded knowledge of risk and compliance are essential.
