As a Building Safety Consultant, you'll take on a pivotal role, providing expert guidance and leadership across a wide range of projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting compliance with the Building Regulations 2010 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
Principal Designer Function: Working with design teams to ensure compliance, develop practical solutions, and drive excellence.
Conducting compliance audits, site inspections, and gap analyses to ensure building safety requirements are met.
Evaluating building regulation packages and plan appraisals, ensuring approvals are secured.
Delivering compliance training to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
Keeping up to date with legislation and best practices to deliver cutting-edge consultancy services.
Qualifications and Experience,
A strong understanding of the Building Regulations 2010, related legislation, and the technical and functional requirements they entail.
Demonstrable experience in building safety, compliance, or design consultancy roles.
Client-Facing Skills: The ability to engage with stakeholders and deliver a solutions-focused service.
A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail in all work.
Professional membership with CABE, CIOB, or RICS (preferred).
A full UK Driving Licence.
Additional Benefits:
Accreditation as a Class 2/3 Registered Building Inspector is desirable but not essential.
Familiarity with PAS45001 and integrated management systems is advantageous.
