About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will design and deliver bespoke learning programs tailored to individual needs. Working alongside a team of skilled teaching assistants and external specialists, you will ensure each child receives the personalised support they require to reach their potential. Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher: Plan and implement engaging, differentiated lessons to suit individual learning needs. Develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Work closely with teaching assistants, families, and specialists to ensure holistic support. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary. Participate in school initiatives, meetings, and training sessions. Encourage the social and emotional development of students alongside their academic growth. SEN Teacher Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or learning difficulties. Strong understanding of SEN best practices and safeguarding requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and parents.
