In House Counsel
Employment Lawyer – Financial Services Sector - 5+pqe -London
Our client offers wealth and asset management services within a regulated financial services organisation.
They are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Employment Lawyer to join their Group legal team to work within this regulated financial services space.
You will have at least 5 years’ employment law experience and will be confident to offer support in complex employment matters, advise senior management and manage tribunal and court proceedings. Some in house experience is desirable but not compulsory.
Reporting to the Group GC, you will collaborate with the Group HR Director and the HR senior management, the rest of the legal team and other internal departments to manage the all employment law aspects of the business.
Acting as primary legal point of contact for all employment matters, you will advise on a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, TUPE, redundancy, restrictive covenants and other HR related issues. You will manage employment litigation, tribunals, mediation and other dispute resolution forums. Draft and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, settlement agreements, consultant agreement and other employment related documentation.
As a well-rounded, highly regarded employment specialist you will be a strategic thinker with strong analysis, drafting and negotiation skills alongside your effective interpersonal and communication skills.
