As a Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and machinery. If you have experience working within a maintenance team and planning within the food manufacturing industry then we would love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:
* Develop and maintain detailed schedules for maintenance tasks
* Coordinate with various departments to plan and schedule work orders
* Supervise and manage the execution of maintenance plans
* Utilise mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and logic controllers
* Oversee project management activities related to maintenance projects
* Using the CMMS System ensure all data is up to date and current
* Working with the maintenance team produce weekly reports which include comprehensive Engineers schedules and activities each week.
Job Requirements of the Maintenance Planner:
* Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
* Experience working as a Maintenance Planner or scheduler
* Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
* Ability to maintain and manage schedules effectively
* Experience with logic controllers is advantageous
* CMMS System or similar experience
* Able to schedule maintenance and keep on top of spares required and orders
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
