Electrical Project Engineer – West Yorkshire – Permanent – £50-58k + vehicle
Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced, electrically biased Project Engineer to work for a specialist engineering company based on the outskirts of Leeds.
The company supplies equipment to the food & drinks industry and the successful Electrical Project Engineer will work as part of a small engineering team delivering exciting, one-off projects to their customer base.
Key aspects of the Electrical Project Engineer role include:
* Managing the delivery of electrical & controls projects, including key internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong operational knowledge from working for an equipment supplier would be ideal.
* Financial acumen & budget management experience is key.
* Represent the organisation in external project meetings.
* Be involved with project design in conjunction with the Engineering Manager.
* Experience of producing Bills of Materials from electrical drawings, then obtaining quotations, and procuring items from suppliers.
* Expect to be on customer sites 1-2 days per week; extended periods away from home won’t be involved. Site work typically involves day trips or single overnight stays depending on the location.
* Company is part owned by a much larger manufacturer, so there are opportunities for progression while working in an interesting and growing market sector.
* The working hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 4.30pm on Fridays.
