- THE ROLE
- The postholder will be responsible for the management of a wide range of construction-related projects from inception to completion and occupation, ensuring each projects University, Faculty, Department and Estates objectives are met and ensuring each project is completed within agreed constraints of quality, cost and time.
They will also be responsible for the management and implementation of non-construction projects, ensuring their successful integration into the existing University Estate.
- ABOUT YOU
- - You will manage a series of construction and non-construction projects from inception to occupation and establish and lead the project teams, comprising of external consultants, client Faculty/Department Representatives, Estates and other support group colleagues, ensuring that aims and objectives are delivered within agreed parameters, legislation and procedures.
- You will ensure the brief is translated accurately, developed and delivered by the design, ensuring that furniture, fittings and equipment align with the brief's design principles and that commissioning, and occupation requirements are implemented.
- You will undertake Feasibility Studies, Design Studies, Investment and Option Appraisals and preparation of business cases.
