Salary - £33,886.88 plus Veolia Benefits
Hours - 36.66 per week Fixed Shift Pattern, 14 fixed shifts plus 3 spares per 5 week rota Location - Tyseley, Birmingham B11 2BA
This is a state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) just to the east of Birmingham City Centre, which takes 350,000 tonnes of Birmingham's rubbish each year and converts it into electricity.

What will you be doing?
Operating the refuse and ash cranes, ensuring good pit management.
Forklift truck duties include unloading and loading of vehicles, moving items around the site, loading/unloading of 5 cubic metre bins onto the hoist system.
Undertake training and development towards Plant Operator / Clinical Operator positions
Our site is a 24/7 operation, there may be occasions where there is a requirement to work unsociable hours or provide short notice cover, so a degree of flexibility is required
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within energy recovery facility operations, steam raising plant or continuous plant operation
Must be PC literate, ability to learn how to use software systems
Full clean UK driving licence
