A well-established organization based in Camberley is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This is a newly created role within the organization and would also suit candidates who have previously worked as an IT Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or Network Manager.

As the Infrastructure Engineer, reporting into the Head of IT, you will be optimizing network performance and delivering IT support services to users across the organization. You will also play a key role in supporting the delivery of major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation and provide your input into long-term strategy in this area.
Your key responsibilities as Infrastructure Engineer will include:
1. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users.
2. Managing the helpdesk system – allocating jobs to technicians.
3. Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment.
4. Maintaining the network, including Wi-Fi and configuring switches.
5. Managing user access, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
6. Firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016).
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and, in addition to the above, will have experience with:
1. Office 365.
2. SharePoint.
3. Virtual environments (VMWare and Hyper-V).
4. Printer solutions (Papercut MF).
5. Anti-virus solutions including Sophos.
6. VOIP telephone systems.
7. CCTV and access control systems.
The salary on offer is up to £36,000 per annum plus benefits package.
