We are currently seeking applications for the role of: Executive Assistant to the Deputy Principal / Global Exchange Coordinator The Role This unique role is integral to the smooth operation of the school and combines two key elements: Supporting the Deputy Principal - the successful candidate will proactively manage the office of the Deputy Principal. This is a very busy office and the successful candidate will be relied upon to manage the Deputy Principal’s diary, draft correspondence, assist with the timetable, school calendar and coordinating some key school events. No two days are the same and the successful candidate will enjoy the variety of ‘whatever comes their way’. Coordinating the Global Exchange Program - the successful candidate will have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with the Deputy Principal to coordinate the Year 10 Global Exchange Program, ensuring the school remains truly a ‘Local School with a Global Outlook’. In coordinating the exchange program, this role coordinates the selection of suitable students for exchange, supports students and their families throughout the program and coordinates the logistics and compliance requirements of the exchange About You The successful candidate will be an experienced, highly professional and knowledgeable administrator, with an interest in working with students. You will demonstrate: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to students, parents, colleagues and others in the school community. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to remain positive whilst managing many tasks. A high level of initiative and ability to think quickly on your feet. Exceptional computer skills including advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn new computer systems quickly. Your attention to detail will be 100%. The ability to work well in a team is essential as the role works with a range of staff across the school.
