Job summary We are currently looking for a customer focused individual to join our busy team. You will administrate an efficient and professional Temporary staffing service on behalf of Mersey Care and will be responsible for supporting our substantive and Temporary Staffing workforce. The Temporary Staffing Team play a pivotal part in ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, which in effect ensures our patients receive the excellent care they deserve. The service currently operates over a 7 day period with shift patterns (Monday to Friday open between 8am and 6pm, weekends open 8am to 2pm and closed all bank holidays) Main duties of the job To work as a member of the team responsible for ensuring that temporary staffing requirements are met through using either bank staff or agency staff. Responsible with dealing with any issues regarding temporary staff received from ward / department managers and take direction from the Temporary Staffing Co-Ordinator/Team Leader to resolve. This role will require general office administrative tasks to support the substantive and temporary workforce, and the maintenance of accurate data within the relevant systems is also an essential part of the role. You will be responsible for generating reports and supplying information to other departments. Knowledge and experience of Agenda for Change Rules, Working Time Directive and the ESR system is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
