The role:
Reporting to the NPD Product Manager, the Senior NPD Technologist will develop and deliver NPD and EPD projects across Refresco’s brand, retail, and co-manufacturing customer base, contributing to overall business growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead NPD/EPD Projects – Manage product development from concept to launch, ensuring compliance, meeting milestones, and maintaining clear communication.
* Customer Collaboration – Act as the main contact for assigned projects, building strong relationships and leading presentations.
* Product Compliance – Ensure formulations meet legal requirements and customer policies while aligning with briefs.
* Innovation & Market Insights – Develop category-leading products, support benchmarking, and conduct market reviews.
* Team Leadership – Mentor and train technologists, ensuring best practices, SOPs, and WOW processes are followed.
* Audit & Documentation – Represent NPD in audits, maintaining up-to-date processes and compliance records.
* Seamless Product Launch – Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth launches and resolve quality-related issues.
* Strategic Growth – Support pipeline development, drive ‘blue-sky’ innovation, and optimize product ranges for quality and profitability.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and delivering NPD/EPD projects from concept to launch. Strong communication skills are essential. Experience within the beverage industry is desirable along with a proven track record of working with retailers and/or brands. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate a creative and passionate flair for NPD.
