We are looking for a high-calibre person to join our Student Information team as a Senior Student Information Officer.
In this role, you will become part of the Student Information team providing exceptional customer service to students and staff across all programmes. The Student Information team also assists students in accessing specialist advice and support from other ULaw services including welfare, disability support and inclusion, employability, and study skills.
Contributing to the delivery of a professional front-of-house service to students, visitors, and staff in keeping with the expectations and standards required by the university and our stakeholders.
You will be required to promote and sustain a constructive, supportive, and friendly working relationship with all clients, visitors, and staff.
As our Senior Student Information Officer, you will:
* Act as the first point of contact on campus for all face-to-face enquiries from students, staff, or members of the public, ensuring that a prompt and professional response is given at all times.
* Provide information and support on a range of enquiries including those relating to new students transitioning to the campus and/or a new course, assessments, timetabling, print services, and more.
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of induction and enrolment activities. Lead the delivery of welcome events for incoming students (face to face and/or online).
* Play a key role in planning and coordinating an engaging programme of campus events, liaising with other departments and external suppliers as needed.
We are looking for people who are/have:
* Relevant experience in the provision of high-quality customer service.
* Experience working with complex processes in a busy office environment.
* Experience in providing information, advice, and guidance to individuals on a one-to-one basis.
* Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Good IT skills with the ability to effectively use the MS Office suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook).
