Our Client is a Building Services Consultancy helping customers create outstanding, fit for purpose and high-performing energy efficient buildings. Established in 2020 and looking forward to celebrating their 5th birthday next year, the business has grown quickly and already become a household name within M&E design services across Leeds.
Their mission is simple, assisting customer goals in achieving net zero carbon, whilst creating a future that benefits people, the planet and the spaces we inhabit. By reducing the construction industry’s environmental impact, promoting sustainable development and challenging energy usage, their belief is so much more can be achieved as we navigate towards a greener future.
Right now, the organisation is at a particularly exciting period of its natural evolution. With strong management in place across a team of talented Directors, seasoned in business development, client management and project delivery, the company is keen to attract the additional pillars required to support the growth of the business and leadership team. Top of that list is a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to lead the HVAC division, working closely with the Electrical section and collaborating with Building Physics Consultants and other Sustainability professionals.
This client-facing role will require a highly technically competent Mechanical Building Services Engineer, with a proven history of leading design teams, mentoring Junior Engineers, and providing a first-class flexible service to contractors, architects, developers, and end users.
Creating an additional layer of management is essential for long-term project management, along with supporting staff training and development. Working closely with the Directors, the appointed Mechanical Engineer will take a leading role in live schemes, resource planning, cost management, and recruitment, facilitating the very best engineering environment for the next generation of Building Services Engineer to thrive within. The company is committed to training and providing a positive setting for staff to learn and develop, working on challenging projects and enjoying genuine ownership to showcase individual and team abilities.
Applications are invited from confident HVAC Design Engineers eager to advance their career within an ambitious independent M&E practice. A genuine route through to a Director level appointment awaits an Engineer who can consistently perform and add value.
