Pest Inspector - Midlands
Salary circa £38,000 - £42,000 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

We are seeking a skilled Pest Technical Consultant Field Biologist to join a Pest Consultancy. The role will involve inspecting and auditing various manufacturing, warehousing, and retail facilities.
This position is remote/field-based with an ideal location in the Midlands/home counties due to customer proximity.
About the Role
* Perform inspections and audits in accordance with industry-recognized standards.
* Produce detailed and accurate photographic inspection reports.
* Deliver customer reports on time, adhering to KIPC Company Policy.
* Schedule and manage inspection work allocations provided.
* Supervise and train new or less experienced employees.
* Develop business opportunities for products and services offered by the Company.
Key Requirements
* Knowledge of legislation related to public health pest control.
* Familiarity with storage and transport of pesticides.
* Understanding of biology, behavior, and control of rats and mice.
* Control of other vertebrate pests including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats.
* Public health insect pest biology and control including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, biting insects, stored product insects.
* Pesticide application equipment knowledge.
* Personal protective equipment expertise.
* Familiarity with pesticide formulations and active ingredients.
* Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas.
* Dynamism, problem-solving aptitude, teamwork, persistence, accuracy, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
* Practical pest control experience in diverse facilities.
* RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management.
* BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management.
* Level 3 Food Safety certification.
* BPCA Certificated Field Biologist.
