Competitive Salary: Depending on experience Career Development: Access to industry-leading training with the Garage Equipment Association (GEA), plus opportunities to specialize and progress within the company Generous Holidays: 25 days of annual leave plus all UK bank holidays Company Tools: Modern company van, iPhone, Tablet, and all the specialist power tools you’ll need Additional Perks: Pension scheme and Death in Service benefit The Role: Field-based: You’ll travel to customer sites across South Wales, service, and maintain high-quality garage equipment, including brands like Hofmann Megaplan, Balco, Cascos, and Atlas Platinum Technical Excellence: Perform MOT bay calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs with a smart, problem-solving approach Customer-Focused: You'll be the face of ISN Garage Assist, ensuring smooth installations and providing customers with top-tier support and training on their new equipment Flexibility: Some crossover between installation and servicing may be required, and ad-hoc working hours may occasionally be necessary Working hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Ideal Candidate: Experience: Previous experience with garage equipment or similar (hydraulic equipment, vehicle lifts, etc.) Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and managing your own van stock Problem solver: Enjoy tackling problems, investigating issues, finding solutions, and supporting the wider team by sharing your expert knowledge Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with customers and work effectively with colleagues Qualifications: A full UK driving license is essential Hand tools: You'll need your own set of hand tools. Interview process: We have a two-step interview process, which usually takes around one week. 1. You’ll have an informal, 30-minute telephone call with Adam, our Engineering Manager, during which you can get to know each other. 2. Next, you’ll meet him face-to-face somewhere local to you so that you can discuss the role in more detail, and Adam can learn more about your skills and experience.
