Position Summary We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join the Procurement team as a Procurement Specialist, working with the Waters Business Partnering team. This is a diverse role with multiple opportunities to interact with stakeholders at all levels, whilst enabling internal and external exposure to demonstrate your ability to influence & engage cross functionally. You will have the opportunity to work with external suppliers and be part of project teams adding value back into the business; this includes areas such as process optimisation. A day in the life of a Procurement Specialist Key responsibilities include - - Work with Head of Procurement and Business Partners to integrate sourcing plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning & forecasting processes - Provide insight to the Local Business Partner on emerging needs & trends from the Factory & Business - Carry out weekly and monthly operational activities including Supplier Performance Management, Price Forecasting, Contract Management, Material Master Data housekeeping and attending Project meetings. - Engage with local suppliers to help with any supplier development activities, or identifying new supplier opportunities as directed by category and sourcing teams - Adding value by being an integral part of Business innovation & renovation projects which will enable us to explore value creation opportunities with our supplier base - Be the link between Supply Chain and our Global or Local sourcing teams, where by providing input into the Supplier Risk Mitigation Strategy. - Ensuring compliance across all aspects of the process What will make you successful? To be successful, your knowledge of operations within Nestlé will be advantageous. We will consider candidates with either an understanding of direct materials within operations or a knowledge of procurement processes. Other essential attributes include: - Ability to build strong working relationships with numerous different stakeholders. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate project management skills and be ability to manage multiple tasks at once. - Knowledge Microsoft Excel and SAP - Passionate about negotiating and resolving supply issues - Strong proven commercial awareness - Strong results focus & excellent influencing skills - Understanding of Risk Management What you need to know What can we offer in return?
