A vacancy has arisen for a Catering Chef Manager for our established clients based at IRISs Facilities Management operations in Billingham.
You will be managing the catering provisions for our clients which includes managing the team to produce healthy, fresh and quality food to a high standard and in a timely manner, whilst maintaining good customer relations
Duties include.
* Personnel management,
* Training,
* Stock management,
* Quality control and the adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Menu planning and review skills to ensure meals are nutritious and well-balanced.
* Controlling and monitoring the food budget and ensuring optimal use of resources.
* Budget management expertise, maintaining costs while providing a high-quality diet
* Strong knowledge of EHO (Environmental Health Officer)
Chef Manager requirements:
* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Proficiency in nutrition, portion control, food planning, and preparation.
* Innovative thinking in regard to continual development of menus in line with customer purchasing patterns and seasonal changes
* Budget management expertise
* Hard working and happy to lead from the front
