Hours: 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday & 7am - 1pm Friday
Location: Wooburn & Bourne End
Our client is a leading manufacturer within multiple sectors supplying to customers globally. This is a brand-new position due to ongoing growth and increased production leading to the need for someone to take control and responsibility of the Warehouse, Stores, and Logistics function of the business. It is imperative that you have experience working in an environment that changes daily within stores and dispatch managing your own workload and one other warehouse operative. You will need to have a strong focus on goods in, optimising processes from stores into production, and ensuring timely customer order dispatch.
Key Skills & Qualifications needed for Warehouse Supervisor position:
1. Proven experience in warehouse/logistics management (ideally in manufacturing or distribution).
2. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and inventory control systems.
3. Experience with goods receipt, traceability, material into production and stock booking.
4. Strong organisational and leadership skills with a focus on timely order fulfilment.
5. Experience with Fork Lift Truck (can be trained if needed).
6. Excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Warehouse Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
1. Goods In Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods. Ensure materials are logged into the system accurately, efficiently, and accompanied by the regulatory documentation.
2. Stock Optimisation: Calculate and plan material going into production with the use of our in-house system to minimise waste, ensuring resources are used effectively.
3. Order Fulfilment & Stock Booking: Ensure stock bound for customers is booked out and dispatched on time with supporting regulatory documentation, coordinating with production and shipping teams to meet delivery deadlines.
4. Systems Management: Manage warehouse management systems (MRP) to track stock, maintain inventory accuracy, and generate reports. Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
