Your new company
Your new company is a leader in their field and are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis from 3 to 6 months, with a potential extension. This role is based in Doncaster, so you must be able to travel to the site between 8am–5pm.
ASAP START - Ideally 17th Feb 2025
Your new role
1. Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
2. Jointly manage the payment run for designated areas of the Company - BACS.
3. Accurately answer any internal and external queries regarding payments.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and review month-end unmatched orders.
5. Maintain accurate supplier ledgers.
6. Work collaboratively with other members of the team and provide cover for annual leave.
7. Ensure 100% clean debit balances.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Possess experience and a good working knowledge of Excel and Oracle.
2. Demonstrate accurate data entry skills.
3. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
4. Proven ability to organise and prioritise your own workload to achieve deadlines.
5. Be proactive in your approach, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and be willing to learn new skills.
