Job Title: Social Sciences Teacher

About the Role
As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects including Sociology, Psychology, and Health & Social Care to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your main responsibilities will include:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Preparing students for exams and coursework submissions
Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have the following:
A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4)
A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning
A proactive, positive approach to teaching and a commitment to raising student achievement
