Academics Ltd are working alongside a primary school in Kiddiminster, Worcestershire to recruit a teaching assistant with previous SEND teaching assistant experience, to join the school in March 2025 working on a full-time basis, five days a week. The role will be to work full school days Monday - Friday until the end of the academic year.
Are you an experienced SEND teaching assistant looking for a new challenge? Are you available from March and can commit until the end of the academic year? If yes to the above, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The role is working on a 1:1 basis with a child in key stage 2 who has autism. The child is bright and articulate, requiring support to ensure they can reach their potential with the additional 1:1 support from their teaching assistant. The school would like to appoint a teaching assistant who has a real passion for SEND and wants to make a difference, someone who can engage, motivate, and encourage the child towards learning goals.
If you have previous SEND teaching assistant experience and are available from March until the end of the academic year, please do apply for the role. Academics are able to offer the successful teaching assistant a competitive salary, support throughout your role with a dedicated consultant, and would be very happy to speak to anyone that fits the above criteria.
