This role is only open to applicants that currently work within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS).
The workforce information analyst is a senior member of the business intelligence team who will have responsibility for developing performance reporting and information analyses to support the trust objectives. A key element of this role is ensuring people have the right information available for resolution of business issues.
The workforce information analyst sits alongside another analyst roles along with a support information analyst team and clinical facing divisional analysts. This team works closely with the other teams within Business Intelligence.
The post holder will help lead and support the BI Department in delivering a high quality and professional information service to support operational, resource management, business planning and the corporate requirements of a division of the Trust.
The role will work closely with their designated division to provide expert advice and guidance on statistical and information matters including the development of health related datasets and information that will shape the Divisional and Trusts business intentions. They will specialise in areas of clinical information to support adhoc requests, contract management, performance monitoring, service redesign, population demographics, needs assessment and QIPP across a particular healthcare delivery setting.
The post holder will act as a relationship manager between HR, Finance and CNO office with the BI Department, support the trust in the formulation of a plan to add strategic direction to their planning and enable the information department to plan work in to a schedule to support the trust.
As well as being accountable for business intelligence for workforce, the post holder will be a senior member of the BI team and will be required to support the Head of BI in being the Trust-wide lead on a specific area of business intelligence policy or service deliver and/or representing the BI department on major project boards.
The Business Intelligence team reports the Trusts performance against the national standards, leads on compliance with national returns, provides analytic support to the Clinical and Corporate divisions and Executive teams. It also maintains the reporting tool used within the Trust.
The team includes the technical team to maintain and build the software tools that underpin the Business Intelligence provision, the Business Intelligence analysts team and the Clinical Coding team.
