Job Title: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – DOORS
Job Description
We are retained by a leading specialist manufacturer of high-end bespoke doors and due to expansion, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally, you would be experienced in selling doors/joinery products or have worked in the builders/timber merchant sector. It would also be an advantage to have a good understanding of the construction sector. This position is for an experienced individual that can establish and build relationships at a senior level.
Reporting to: Managing Director
As REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, you will work along with the estimating and sales team promoting the company’s products to exciting sectors such as builders & timber merchants, installers, builders/developers, and retail showrooms.
Key Responsibilities as Regional Sales Manager
1. Develop awareness and raise our client's profile within your target sectors.
2. Stay updated with industry trends.
3. Provision and management of supplied marketing and specification material.
4. Quoting and costing customer requirements.
5. Understanding customer needs and requirements, researching accounts, and identifying key players.
6. Prospecting and lead generation.
7. Building and maintaining relationships and winning enquiries and ultimately the business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required as Regional Sales Manager
1. Proven experience in sales.
2. Knowledge of door/joinery products.
3. Experience selling to merchants, both independent and national.
4. General construction knowledge essential and knowledge of the construction sector.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
6. Confident and professional telephone manner.
7. Effective communication skills.
8. Customer-focused with sound commercial skills.
9. Good IT skills, PC literate, and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
