Job overview
Do you have strong administrative, database and data collection skills? Are you looking for a role that will see you working closely with a variety of staff members, to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and experience? Then we invite you to apply to join our friendly and hard-working Cancer Data Team as our new Administrator.
Main duties of the job
* Review cancer records and add essential data.
* Liaise with the core MDT members to review patient notes and outcomes.
* Ensure decisions, management and treatment plans are recorded on Somerset appropriately.
* Provide dedicated and effective administrative support to multi-disciplinary teams.
* Facilitate the smooth running of regular multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings by preparing documentation.
* Track cancer patient pathways to ensure that patient records are accurate.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Good level of education e.g. A-level/NVQ Level 3 or relevant experience
Experience
* Cancer Waiting Time Knowledge demonstrated in work history and/or supporting information
* Previous experience working with complex data
* Previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting
* Experience of using hospital administration systems
* Knowledge of medical terminology - demonstrated in supporting statement and previous work experience
