Role: Category Executive
Location: Northallerton, North Yorkshire

As a Category Executive you will be responsible for supporting the Insight and Customer Marketing team working across the Retail and Convenience channel. This role would be an excellent start point for someone looking to begin a career in Category Management/Customer Marketing or Sales and you’d be supported by some of the best people in the food industry.
Your role will include:
• Use and management of market data databases (Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, Dunnhumby)
• Use of customer systems to extract sales data (Eg. Asda Retail Link & Tesco Link)
• Updating weekly EPOS trackers to assist the category team in producing weekly insight reports
• Conducting store audits and sharing insights with the wider team
• Ad hoc data retrieval, analysis and reporting
• Preparing sales materials and presentations
To be considered for our Category Executive role you will be degree educated candidate may possess 3-6 months applicable experience or be completely raw with a strong desire to succeed in a Commercial profession. You will be confident, driven, proactive and committed to joining a professional organisation to further your career. You will be analytical, have excellent communication skills, a basic technical understanding, high levels of self motivation and excellent time management skills.
