We are looking for a brilliant (and experienced) Accounts Receivables Accountant to join the LSB Finance Team in our brand-new Ministry of Clean Office. In this role you'll be responsible for maintaining the sales ledgers of the Method & Ecover brands: allocating payments, chasing debts, investigating various customer claims and other ad hoc duties helping the AR manager, whilst also keeping an open eye for operational excellence. You will be collaborating with various stakeholders, whilst helping to maintain proactive, accurate processing of all documents in a timely manner, in order to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will report to the AR Manager and work in a team of another two AR Accountants, working on various markets.,
* Ensure invoice accuracy (master data, pricing); recognize billing issues and retrigger invoices and and allocate customer payments
* Timely resolution of customer claims and escalate repetitive issues
* Prepare sales ledgers reports and give regular updates to AR Manager
* Own your ledger, keep the commentary on item level up to date
* Bring items forward for approval & drive write-off initiatives
* Assisting & preparing bad debt provision calculations
* Own the trade spend invoices and influence stakeholders for a timely completion (Logging invoices, getting approvals, following up on blocked credit notes)
* Investigate and analyze debit notes deducted from customers' payments- Liaise with Sales team & supply chain to solve price& stock queries
* Internal & external audit: provide auditors with requested documents
* Be curious and seek opportunities for process improvement and lead their execution (drive simplification and standardization)
Strong track record in Accounts Receivable, (working on large accounts would be an advantage).
* Excellent numeric & Excel skills, along with other MS Office applications. SAP experience desired.
* Good level of German/Dutch would be an advantage.
* You will be a skilled communicator and will get your message across well. You will love working as part of a team and will be a great collaborator.
* You will be naturally organized and planned - you are resourceful. You're able to prioritize and juggle lots of tasks at the same time with relentless desire for high standards and high attention to detail.
