Job Description
Randstad Student Support are recruiting Specialist Mentors to work with autistic students at Universities and/or Colleges in Sheffield Hallam University.
This is a hybrid role, requiring travel to local universities or colleges for in-person and online sessions.
As a Specialist Mentor, you will be a trusted advisor, assisting students throughout the academic year.
You will help students reflect on their experiences, introduce strategies to overcome barriers, and support them one-on-one.

* Become an independent learner by building confidence and strengths.
Requirements
This is a specialist role, requiring specific qualifications and training. Students are funded by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).
Candidates must have a minimum undergraduate degree level qualification and extensive training in adult autism.
* National Autistic Society Modules (non medical helper package).
* Optimum Training Course: Autism and ADHD in Higher Education.

* Experience working with autistic clients.

* Ability to manage a caseload of students.
