Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based near Orpington, Kent is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team.
Reporting and working alongside the Managing Director, your duties will include:
1. Monthly management accounts preparation for two companies
2. Maintaining and processing the prepayments schedule and nominal journals
3. Preparing and processing payroll
4. Preparation of the schedule of accruals
5. Maintaining the Fixed Asset register
6. Completion of the monthly control account reconciliations for payroll, credit card & petty cash
7. Overseeing two accounts assistants in the sales/purchase ledger functions
8. Preparation of year-end accounts
Prospective candidates can be ACCA, CIMA qualified, or Qualified by Experience and have proven experience in a similar role coupled with good Sage Line 50 & MS Excel skills. First-rate interpersonal skills are essential as you will work closely with colleagues throughout the business. This role is primarily office based but an element of home working will be considered following a three-month probation period.
