Senior Commercial Disputes Associate
London – £120,000 - £140,000
Our client, a multi-national law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Dispute Resolution Associate to join its London based team. They have two generous bonus schemes: a firm-wide bonus based on financial targets and a fee-earner bonus up to 20% of your salary based on performance, ontop of a highly competitive market salary.
The London-based team advises on a wide range of high-profile international and national disputes across various sectors, including TMT, financial services, energy, life sciences, and real estate. We provide practical and commercial advice at all stages of the dispute resolution process, from pre-contractual negotiations to complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration. The team is Legal 500 recommended for premium commercial litigation.
You will provide in-depth case analysis and briefings for partners and the team, managing substantial disputes under partner supervision. You will work directly with clients, taking instructions and preparing high-quality, concise correspondence, instructions to Counsel, pleadings, and other court and arbitration documents as needed. Additionally, you will support partners with business development opportunities and be encouraged to take the initiative in developing both your own and the team’s client relationships and market profile.
Candidate Requirements
1. 6+ Years PQE in Commercial Disputes. (The ideal candidate will have 6-10 Years Experience, however candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply).
2. Well-developed understanding of litigation, arbitration and ADR procedures
3. Ability to handle clients from blue-chip companies
4. Broad range of experience across commercial, particularly in areas such as TMT, Financial Services, Energy, Life Sciences and Real Estate
5. Multi-jurisdictional experience in helpful
6. Strong academics, excellent communication and advocacy skills
The salary range for this role is £120,000 - £140,000 (This is subject to increase over the next few weeks)
