Faculty of Engineering To provide administrative support to the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering across a broad range of duties which underpin their general operations. This will include reception, dealing with requests, programme support, organisation of meetings and events, as well as being an initial point of contact for students, visitors and staff. FTE: 1.0 Term: Open-ended The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, based within the Faculty of Engineering, are seeking to appoint a full-time Administrative Assistant. The post holder will be part of a busy administration team, undertaking various duties in support of general operations. Delivery of services will require enthusiasm, personal responsibility and initiative from a bright individual. To be considered for the role, you will have a minimum of 5 Nat 5’s at Level A, B or C, which should include English, Maths and Computing/Administration, and have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, excellent customer service skills, both in-person and via telephone, and good IT skills are necessary.
