Job Title: Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker to join our new residential home in Gloucester, supporting young people aged 8–18.

Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Inspire and lead the care team, promoting a person-centered approach to care.
* Care Oversight: Lead the implementation, monitoring, and review of Care Plans and Behaviour Support Plans.
* Team Development: Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to Children's Home Regulations (2015) and all safeguarding practices.
* Collaboration: Work with professionals, families, and other stakeholders to meet the needs of the children.
* Operational Management: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home, including shift planning, household tasks, and administrative duties.
Requirements:
* An experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker eager to step into a leadership role.
* A track record of success in a Residential Children's Home setting, with a passion for achieving positive outcomes for young people.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or equivalent).
* Experience in a leadership role or significant experience as a Senior Support Worker in a similar setting.
* Strong understanding of Children's Home Regulations (2015) and safeguarding requirements.
* Full UK driving license.
