What you'll be doing The On the Beach Beds team is at the heart of On the Beach We have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for liaising with our customers and suppliers to ensure that every On the Beach holiday is the perfect customer experience. You'll manage any changes to a booking before travel and will support our customers whilst they're on holiday. This is a varied, challenging and exciting role and offers a lot of scope for career and skill development. Key Responsibilities Ensuring customer and supplier satisfaction by answering any queries professionally and in a confident manner Loading and maintaining contracts and channel manager connections in our in internal system; loading special offers to existing contracts Loading stop sales received daily Liaising with hotels/other departments to resolve any problems that occur whilst clients are in resort Dealing with accommodation amendments, special requests and hotel changes Improving customer experience by feeding back any issues to other parts of the business Working as part of a team as well as working independently to handle and manage workloads Problem solving - Dealing with system & human errors quickly and efficiently About you We ask that you’re as passionate about customer experience and supplier satisfaction as we are Skills that you will bring to the beach include: The On the Beach Beds team are part of a bigger Customer Experience team and we are looking for people who are keen to learn different parts of the business and take on new challenges, and are happy to switch responsibilities to meet team objectives High standard of accuracy & attention to detail. Organised and self-motivated They should enjoy working as part of a team but be able to organise their own workload and be proactive Friendly, positive outlook Strong mathematical skills and excellent communication skills Strong IT and computer skills, especially Excel Speaking a second language is desirable (Spanish, Greek or Turkish) Experience of working in the travel industry or administration role What to expect from our interview process We will have a quick, straight forward Interview process which begins with a call from the Talent Team followed by a one hour interview with the team Ways of working We offer a hybrid way of working, with our beach themed office a short walk to Piccadilly train station in Manchester City Centre. We can also offer free parking onsite at our offices, as well as a cycle to work scheme Our full time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday with varied shift patterns: Our opening hours are 08:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday and Sunday 09:00 – 17:00.
