Job Description:
As a Regional Admissions Co-ordinator at HC-One, you’ll be responsible for driving new and existing business into homes across the area, building and sustaining high occupancy in line with the homes’ commercial strategy, focusing on private pay and public pay admissions with a 3rd party top-up.
Main Activities
1. Develop and implement sales, marketing, and awareness programs to promote the home within the local community, targeting potential private fee payers.
2. Present ideas for increasing revenue to AD & CBP to support occupancy growth.
3. Monitor and report barriers to revenue opportunities.
4. Generate resident enquiries through community networking, support enquirers from contact to admission, and liaise with families.
5. Organize community events to attract private pay residents and position the home as a preferred choice.
6. Build relationships with local opinion leaders, influencers, and referrers, maintaining contacts for promotion.
7. Identify local publications read by the target audience for advertising opportunities.
8. Support care home managers in maintaining high standards of presentation and visitor experience.
9. Coordinate home tours and ensure high-quality viewing experiences.
10. Work with marketing to arrange advertising, mailshots, and awareness campaigns.
11. Assist the Care Home Administrator in managing enquiries, providing staff training for enquiry capture and tours.
12. Visit community health and social care settings to build referral networks.
13. Collaborate with wellbeing coordinators on resident events and research local advertising opportunities.
14. Use hospitality skills to train staff on enquiry handling and tours.
15. Monitor financial budgets, occupancy, and enquiries; produce regular reports.
16. Create positive news stories and interpret management information for insights.
