By collaborating closely with diverse teams across the organization, you’ll help us build resilience against climate risks, ensuring we continue to provide safe, high-quality drinking water to our customers for years to come.

Responsibilities:
* Identify and assess climate-related risks (e.g., flooding, droughts, extreme weather) to operations, assets, and water resources.
* Use scenario modelling and climate data to evaluate long-term impacts on asset resilience, water availability, and service delivery.
* Develop and implement adaptation strategies to enhance climate resilience, ensuring alignment with UK Climate Projections (UKCP) and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement a structured transition plan to align the business with a low-carbon, climate-resilient model.
* Collaborate with internal teams to embed climate and transition planning into decision-making.
* Develop and deliver reports on climate risk assessments, adaptation actions, mitigation efforts, and transition progress.
Key requirements:
* Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
* Policy and technical knowledge in climate change adaptation and mitigation
* Ability to summarise technical information and effectively support briefing of senior leaders to support decision making.
* Experience of strategy development and implementation.
* Experienced in influencing and managing relationships (and managing stakeholder engagement).
