Your role with us
We’re currently looking for a Facilities Manager to take responsibility for optimising the effectiveness of service delivery and the day-to-day operation of our Hanslope Park site. You will apply governance to service delivery, lead on hard services, and have line-management responsibilities for soft services. You will ensure compliance with financial accountability, public sector expenditure, Health and Safety policies, and operational obligations. Achieving continuous performance improvements and building positive relationships with our customers and service providers will also be key responsibilities.
Your additional responsibilities include ensuring monthly reporting and forecasting is completed, and that the day-to-day services we provide meet necessary requirements. You will support the delivery of a project portfolio to prioritise investment, monitor the quality of delivery with service providers against agreed KPIs, and maintain operational, financial, and Health and Safety governance.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of budgetary allocation, spending, and financial reporting, including revenue (RDEL) vs capital (CDEL). Practical knowledge of statutory compliance requirements in relation to facilities management and UK legislation is essential.
You must have well-developed experience of operating an estate and maintaining a secure environment, along with an understanding of the principles of project and contract management for service delivery under a New Engineering Contract form. A highly motivated and collaborative team worker, you should possess a strong understanding of UK Health and Safety regulatory requirements as they apply to the built environment and an operational estate.
You must be a British citizen at the time of your application, and you’ll be required to attain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. For more information about this process, click here.
