The UK Benefits specialist role within the HR team is a key position for managing employee benefits and pension plans, ensuring they are efficiently administered and align with best practices. The primary objective is to deliver outstanding outcomes for both the business and employees, while working closely with internal teams. The role focuses on managing the benefits and pension plans and ensuring smooth operation of the Company's online flexible benefits portal. The role holder will report to the UK Compensation & Benefits Manager in the UK. This is a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for resolving basic employee queries related to pensions and benefits, managing and resolve queries, ensuring excellence in service and employee satisfaction, acting as the liaison between employees, the UK benefits team, benefit providers, and other stakeholders. Support the operation of the UK online flexible benefits portal, reviewing and validating data files exchanged with HR, payroll systems, and benefit providers. Work with the portal provider, to ensure the smooth running of benefits through the portal and resolve any arising issues. Maintain and enhance content on the benefits portal Assist in the preparation and delivery of benefit communications to employees Execute monthly operational processes, including benefit deduction and pension contribution reconciliations, auto-enrolment checks, and the calculation of benefit balances on termination. Collaborate internally and externally to ensure seamless processing of benefit-related operations and timely and accurate communication to employees. Manage the UK Benefits email mailbox, the gateway for digital communication with all stakeholders Support in maintaining benefits documentation including brochures and guides and benefits process notes Assist HR teams and other corporate functions in managing pension and benefit needs for secondments, overseas assignments, TUPE transfers and other ad hoc requirements. Support annual and triennial reviews of benefit provider and insurance contracts Assist in strategic projects including the design and delivery of benefit improvements for the upcoming year Participate in benchmarking activities for benefits offerings, staying informed about global trends and suggesting innovative ideas for strategy. Contribute to the development and delivery of health and wellness programs to support employee well-being. Work with global teams on international benefits initiatives and projects to ensure consistency and alignment across regions Experience Familiarity with UK benefits portals and benefits administration including data file interface processes. Experience with benefits renewals, annual enrolment windows, and managing benefit reconciliations. Understanding of auto-enrollment, pension contributions, and compliance with UK tax laws. Understanding of defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes Experience with salary sacrifice schemes (pensions, cycle to work, childcare vouchers, company vehicles).
